Obama Transparency
Headlines across America will likely proclaim a new era of transparency in the White House. Certainly when it comes to Presidential Records, this is definitely the case. In an Executive Order signed yesterday, Obama re-wrote the rules when it comes to claims of Executive Privilege. Bush had, in order # 13233, granted even the heirs of former presidents to assert privilege. Those days are over. At least during this Presidency.

During ABC's coverage yesterday of the Inauguration, there were countless references to all the work in the White House to move out the Bushes and move in the Obamas. Apparently there were about 100 workers in a careful dance to assure everything moved according to plan. No mention was made, though, of the revisions to the White House webpage, whitehouse.gov.
